Health Economist

Assist with the design and development of the Ministry of Health’s Performance Based Financing (PBF) program. In particular, assists with the collection and analysis of information in Ethiopia and the preparation of documents. Participates in PBF meetings with government at all levels and other stakeholders. The health economist (HE) will work directly under the Health Systems Strengthening Advisor but will also work closely with and under the technical guidance of the PBF advisor at the MSH Home Office. The HE will also work closely with other members of the HIV/AIDS Care and Support Project (HCSP) team, especially the Contracts Officer.
This is an initial six month contract with an option for extension, subject to discussion with USAID and MOH.

Epidemiologist/Public Health Specialist

This opening is for an Epidemiologist to do work on a Constella Group
project for the CDC in Atlanta. Duties include overseeing
epidemiological surveillance and data activities including providing
guidance to surveillance coordinators and field staff regarding case
finding, risk factor assessment, and diagnostic criteria; and directing
database management, analysis, and report generation. Assist with
epidemiologic investigations related to health issues in selected
populations, such as migrant populations. Assist with evaluation
studies of medical screening activities and with development of a
physician registry.

Data and Evaluation Specialist

seeking a Data and Evaluation Specialist to help oversee various
domestic projects relating to HIV/AIDS and substance abuse program
evaluation and data management, as well as technical assistance and
training relating to health information systems.
