Project Manager, Visceral Leishmaniasis

The Project Manager for the Visceral Leishmaniasis Project, under the direction of the Phase 4 Program Director – India and in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager – iOWH HQ, ensures the progress of interdisciplinary project activities coordinated in support of the VL Program. With the approval of Paromomycin IM Injection, an off-patent antibiotic, as a new therapeutic to treat VL in India, the team is preparing to launch a large and innovative Phase 4 program both to expand Paromomycin IM Injection’s safety profile, as well as to test a new delivery model applicable to Bihar India, to gain deeper access to patients in rural environments.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the project management support of project activities related to the Phase 4 program. S/he acts as project liaison between internal management and external partners. S/he specifically identifies and manages project-related priorities, applying standard project management tools, processes and principles to meet timelines and budgets.
Relationships:
Reports to the Phase 4 Program Director based at Patna and works closely with the Associate Project Manager, Clinical Trial Manager, Medical Manager, Manager – Field Research, Monitoring and Evaluation.

Project Manager, Access Program

iOWH is developing a sustainable, scalable, transferable Access Program for paromomycin for the treatment of Visceral Leishmaniasis in India. This Paromomycin Access Program will ensure appropriate drug distribution and provision of effective treatment with paromomycin for Visceral Leishmaniasis in Bihar at the village level.
The Project Manager will support the team in design, implementation, and analysis of the Access Program.
